Shipping and Returns

Returns & Exchanges

We know you will be more than pleased with your purchase, but if you are not fully satisfied for whatever reason, you may return your purchase within 14 days for an exchange or refund.  In order to receive an exchange, we need the original receipt included with your shipment.  Additionally, the product must be in its original condition – including packaging and all other accessories.  Exchanges are limited to items of equal or lesser value.  If an exchange is requested for a higher priced item, the buyer shall complete a transaction for the new item, and the item being exchanged will be refunded upon return.  Please allow up to 10 business days for returns to be processed. For Metal Art, a 30% restocking fee will apply. S&H charges are not refundable. Buyer pays return shipping fees. All items are inspected for damage prior to shipping.  Please inspect the listings’ images for potential errors prior to purchase, as they may be able to be corrected for you prior to shipment.  Urban Art District is not responsible for damage caused during shipment.  Items are packaged appropriately in order to minimize the chance of damage during transit.

 

Excluded Returns & Exchanges

Digital items are not eligible for refund or exchange due to the nature of and the ease of duplication of this product.

Original Fine Art* is not eligible for refund or exchange.  *Original Fine Art means any paintings, drawings, photography, graphic illustrations, etc (but excluding Metal Art) that are listed as Originals or Artist Proofs.

Book-Inspired Art is not eligible for refund or exchange unless damage occurs during the mounting process after the purchase has been made.  Images are available either unmounted (image only), already mounted, or to be mounted.  If the image is already mounted prior to purchase or if a purchase is made on an unmounted image (image only), the item is not eligible for refund or exchange.  Book-Inspired Art are rescued pieces of art and we cannot guarantee their condition.  If a purchased image is to be mounted after the sale and damage occurs during that mounting process, the buyer will be notified and provided photos of the damage, and can therefore request a refund or exchange if desired.

 

Shipping Policies

Most items will ship in 1-4 business days after payment has cleared.  Items can ship by a variety of carriers, and will be shipped using the most efficient route possible, unless a specific carrier is selected during checkout.  Buyers requesting Local Pickup will be notified when their order is ready for pickup.  Production or handling time will depend on the item purchased.

Metal Art requiring paint customization will require an additional 5-10 days for production for the paint to dry appropriately prior to shipping.  More extensive customization could require a longer production time.

Custom Prints, including Subway Signs, will require an additional 2-5 days for production.

Book-Inspired Art that will be mounted after purchase will require an additional 14 days for production in order to allow time for the adhesive to dry properly before the protective coat is applied, and for the protective coat to dry appropriately prior to shipping.

 

Additional Policies

The information collected is used solely to fill your order, and to contact you if there are any questions regarding that order. Your information is not forwarded or sold to outside companies. Every precaution is taken to unsure your information is PRIVATE and CONFIDENTIAL.
